Admit when you are wrong.
There is no shame in admitting wrong whether you misspoke or something else. The only cowardice lies in not acknowledging your actions.
Sometimes we get so caught up in what others might or might not think of us that we forget we’re all in this together. In the end, what we think we do to someone else, is what we’ve actually done to ourselves. If we can remember that, we’re free to admit wrongdoing without judgment on ourselves or others.
Thank you, Mary, for reminding me.
